Accessibility Statement

Conversation Matcher is committed to making its website usable by as many people as possible, including those who rely on assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA, aligned with the European standard EN 301 549.

What we do to support access

  • Semantic, structured HTML with clear headings and landmarks.
  • A “skip to content” link so keyboard users can bypass the navigation.
  • Full keyboard navigation with a clearly visible focus indicator.
  • Respect for the “reduced motion” system setting — animations are toned down or stopped.
  • Light and dark themes for comfort and contrast.
  • A responsive layout that reflows and stays usable when zoomed.
  • Text alternatives for images that carry meaning.
  • A defined page language so screen readers pronounce content correctly.

Conformance status

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some content may not yet fully meet the standard. We are actively working to identify and fix any gaps.

Known limitations

We are aware of a few areas still being improved, including alternative text on some older imported images and a review of colour contrast and motion in a small number of decorative components. If you rely on assistive technology and hit a barrier we have not listed, please tell us — it helps us prioritise.
